Dance Details

At AS Level the focus is on developing your skills in choreography and performance work. You will gain experience of contemporary technique through technique classes, and you will be exposed to a range of styles in order to assist with your own development. You will start to develop critical skills for dance analysis, both in relation to your own work and the work of professionals. In the second year you will build on and develop your choreographic and performance skills, focussing particularly on solo performance and group choreography. You will also gain theoretical knowledge of a specific area of study related to the development of Modern Dance.
