Dance Movement Psychotherapy, MA / PgDip / PgCert

There is rapidly increasing recognition of the positive impact that art therapies have on people’s health especially within the areas of mental health and dementia. Requests for trained and experienced professionals in Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) are increasing, following the advent of Health Professions Council (HPC) registration for DMT as a state registered profession and the successful integration of Dance Movement Therapists. This MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy provides graduates with a route to a qualification, licence to practice and registration as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist with the Association for Dance Movement Therapy (ADMT UK), in alignment with the HPC. The three-year part-time course is run in collaboration with the Dance Voice Education and Therapy Centre, in Bristol.
