This course is one module of Foundation Degree (FdA) in Computing. The module provides you with the skills required to design, create and maintain a relational database. Firstly, the module is designed to develop an understanding of the fundamentals behind the efficient and effective organisation of data and data relationships. Secondly, it is designed to develop, by means of practical examples, the skills involved to create, manage and interrogate a database system using Access or SQL. All places are subject to satisfactory interview. The weekly classroom sessions include: There are three assignments for this module: Completion of the programme can lead to a range of options in employment and education. You could proceed onto a number of higher education programmes at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai.
