With the opening of Tate Modern in 2000 as a starting point, this course focuses on contemporary art and artists practising in the new millennium. Examines works that have been produced during this vibrant decade, the artists’ diverse influences and motivations, and the themes that inspire them.

Beginning in May, and embracing the run-up to an exciting summer season of contemporary art in London, the course includes visits to both contemporary galleries and artists’ studios.
