The College has developed this range of creative workshops to inspire individuals in later life to start something new, or further develop their own creative journey. The workshops are delivered in an informal and supportive way by our highly experienced staff who are artists, photographers, designers and makers. So why not take this opportunity to meet and learn with like minded individuals in a friendly and creative atmosphere… this is the time to be inspired!This is an introductory workshop where you will learn the basic techniques of working with glass to make beautiful objects. A highly experienced glass designer-maker will guide you and allow you to explore the exciting medium of glass. You will be shown how to fuse different colour glass together, slump glass to form new shapes and learn how to cut, assemble and finish glass objects. This will enable you to produce your own unique artefact.
