Medicine degrees at Debrecen

  • It's a good way to prepade our career.
    ← | →
  • The University has surpassed my initial expectations, especially its medical campus (I confess I haven’t yet had a chance to explore any of the other campuses). It combines both the breathtaking beauty of the main building “Kossuth” and the stunning architecture of the more modern buildings, with their glass-fronted spacious designs. The campus life here has really surprised me; I expected it to be a fairly unfamiliar atmosphere with thousands of busy bustling students going about their daily lives; however I couldn’t have been more wrong, I’ve found it to be incredibly familiar and friendly place, filled with sociable people from across the world. The University also runs a well-established Erasmus program for 4th and 5th year students and whilst I have not yet benefited from it I am looking forward to it immensely. It offers you the opportunity to do a whole semester abroad at any university participating in the Erasmus program, of which there are many. The university obviously receives many Erasmus students, which provides a fantastic opportunity to make friends and further connections across the world. Also in the 6th year - the fina#0;0#0;ualifying

  • I am from the UK and applied for Medicine at the university of Debrecen and passed successfully now in my first year settled in and starting my journey. Sandor has been great help for me and my family in being a great support system for helping me to apply for the University Of Debrecen, succeed in the entrance exam and settle in into the university. Moving to Debrecen to study can be very frightening but Sandor made it all very easy and it has by far been one of the best decisions I have made to come over here with the help of Sandor. He does not only help in the academic area but also in the day to day life in the sense that you can call him to translate for you when ordering a pizza! Being disheartened once not getting into medical school in London it was very difficult to find the motivation to study again but the University of Debrecen brought back my motivation having being a very exciting journey with the best help one can get.

Medical and Pharmacological Sciences BSc (Hons) degrees at Scarborough

  • This course balances perfectly in depth aspects of both medicine and the pharmaceutical industry, providing clear career information and how to get there. This is along with the opportunity to stay on at the university and gain a masters in pharmacology and drug discovery, as well as plenty of PhD opportunities for those students willing to work for it. All staff are available when they say they will be and only at the other end of an email, I have received an unbelievable level of support with absolutely everything I have done, whether that be personal, interview training, guidance with work I find difficult etc. The course is set 50% each way roughly by coursework and exams, coursework including essays, lab reports and leading on to writing full scientific articles - potentially worthy of publication or conferences. Final year also includes your own lab based project for your thesis, conducting your own research! Teaching is lecture, workshop and lab based, along with an element of independent study which is up to you if you want to achieve those higher grades. The level of lab experience we gain at this university is of an extremely high standard and focuses around making you an attractive and employable graduate.

  • This university suitable for anyone. I am really glad I choose Coventry such a lovely campus and city! Overall I think this is a great University with a diverse range of courses that have a lot to offer. There is always someone who can help you, you can not be bored because of the huge amount of programs and societies and the employment rate after graduation is really high. I would recommend this Uni to anyone willing to gain a diploma and enjoy a wonderful experience!

  • I am studying Medical Science and Pharmacological Sciences. It is a very interesting course and you can specialise and divert to any branch. Pharmacology is a great course to be in. I'd like to be a clinical research scientist and this idea came from many work placements I have done during summer. Last summer I worked with one of my lecturers and I was able to see her research on anticancer drugs.
