If you really want to learn English, Kaplan is not your place. However, if you want to spend all holiday, Kaplan is your place. For me it has been a big disappointment for the quality of teaching and school approach. Pure is a business in which they charge for everything. If you do not have referral from another site, you'll fall in Kaplan because advertising and marketing they have well developed but if you want quality, you have many other options cheaper.

Great experience last year I do not regret. My English level has really improved after 6 months at Kaplan. The teachers and the management team are great. The proposed activities and trips are very friendly too. This experience will bring you many things humanly speaking.
If you can, do not hesitate and go for it!
For cons, the host families are debated in Toronto. I would advise you another solution unless minor.

Positive experience, I did Masters of Business Administration program. Pheonix offered good learning experience, they offered good tools. They put time and effort into students. The school is great, the atmosphere is amazing, you're doing enormously friends from around the world. Orientation is a bit has to revise the language level because I think I fell with with too low, but nothing serious. For the host family I aiete very disappointed because the family never spoke, it was not very clean and the food not so good. But after a week you can change the family, I am still.

I really love my experience at Kaplan, the students are all great, Jr. did not have hurt me make friends even with the language barriers, the teachers explained well and take the time to explain, for activities I have not done much, I thought it was descevant most of the time but this is but my opinion (I prefer to go to the bar with friends), to finish worry there will necessarily be a french couple in this school , it is deemed.
