My research aims to identify factors that affect the employment choices of migrants. I'm looking at the British-Pakistani men in particular because almost 25% of British-Pakistani men in UK choose to drive taxis. There is also the debate about how free are people to choose their life options given the kind of ethnic backgrounds they are from, the gender, the class they belong to.
