In order to gain the NCFE Award certficate in dementia awareness level 2, you will need to complete a portfolio on the following mandatory units.
Unit 01 Understanding dementia
Unit 02 Understanding person-centred dementia care
Unit 03 Understanding ‘challenging' behaviour in the context of dementia
Unit 04 Applying a person-centred approach to dementia care

Evidence gained from this course can be used towards order awards; the award also provides progression into a number of other qualifications in Health and Social Care
