- Competence/knowledge qualification - Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (QCF) (13 units, 4 which are examined)
- Transferable Skills in English and Mathematics (Functional Skills) Level 2
- Level 3 Award in Employment & Personal Learning Skills in Health (5 units) (QCF)
Method of Study
Completion & achievement of this course allows GDC registration as a qualified dental nurse.
Students attend College one evening per week for underpinning knowledge needed for external exam & underpinning knowledge needed for portfolio of evidence.
Students will be assessed on 13 units through course work assignments and practical observations in the workplace.
