Application Requirement: In order to apply for this course, candidate must: Be a GDC registered dental nurse or hold applicable qualification i.e. NVQ Level 3 in Oral Health Care, the National Certification for Dental Nurses( NCDN), or equivalent Have an agreement with a dentist to act as your supervisor prior to submit the application for the examination. Post Certification courses for Dental Nursing

Course Details:

Post Certification Course (s) is a Eight months part-time work based qualification where students are required to attend theory classes once in a week at the centre for eight months which culminates in an examination and a minimum of two days a week in work placements such as Dental Surgery, Dental Clinic and Hospital. Students are also required to attend seminars and excursions.

A to Z Global helps for finding work placement for students. Students will have a Record of Experience in their work placement as a part of their progress report and assessment, which will be supervised and assessed by the dentist.

Oral Health Education (1 Year)

The course is designed to provide the principles of oral health hygiene and students will be equipped with:

  • The knowledge required to educate a variety of patients
  • The communication skills needed to impart that knowledge
  • The confidence to develop a career in oral hygiene.

Course Duration: 8 Month
