What do I need to know before I start the course?

This course is suitable for those who hold an NVQ 3 in Beauty/are qualified in Microblading and/or Micropigmentation/are a doctor, nurse or dentist. You must bring proof of your qualifications. Students must be 18+. An ABT Accredited Certificate can only be awarded on successful completion. Students are required to provide a model to arrive at 1.15pm. Models must: be 18+, not be suffering from severe acne, lupus, or similar, not recently had laser treatments, not undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, not be taking blood thinning medication, not using steroid creams on the face and not have diabetes (unless controlled). We recommend you bring your own lunch.

Additional Information

Licensing
Your local council may require you to have a license to carry out this treatment, which may have a fee. Please check this with your local authority prior to booking this course.
Insurance
Not all insurance companies cover this procedure, so please check with your own insurance company first. There may be an extra premium to add on to existing insurance. This is an ABT accredited course where insurance is given.
Equipment
The kit included in the course contains enough products to last for up to 15 treatments. It includes blades, a handtool, a blade disposal box, balm, cleanser, moisturiser, face masks and more. Additional items may need to be purchased to carry out this treatment once you are qualified (couch roll etc).

Will I need to bring any materials?

All materials will be provided for you on the day of the course. You will also receive an ABT Accredited Diploma.
