Course Content
All advanced driver training courses require approximately fifteen hours of tuition. Tests take around one hour and are conducted over a wide variety of road and traffic conditions.
The DIAmond Special Advanced Driving Test
On the 1st June 2002, DIAmond Advanced Motorists introduced the 'DIAmond Special Driving Test', a more difficult test still as only two driver errors are allowed and they cannot be for the same mistake. This is a one and a half hour test over a 30 mile test route.
How well qualified is your trainer?
John Macdonald and Gary Cooper have been specially trained to develop your driving skills carrying out all training for our advanced driving tests. Their aim is to help you achieve a high and consistent standard. Emphasis is placed on road safety and minimising risk.
What are the Benefits?
The benefit of advanced driver training and qualifications is discounted insurance premiums and professional recognition. What is more important however is the 'peace of mind' that comes from knowing that you are capable of driving in the safest way possible.
When driving on our roads you have no control of what others do. A measure of how hazardous this is can be is that nearly two thirds of drivers on the road today are not capable of passing their driving test again without further training. You can minimise your risk and best protect you and people around you by driving to the highest possible standard. In doing so you are reducing the risks caused by others. Investment in advanced training is a small price to pay.
