Course programme

Course Details

This eight-week course is designed for potential film editors in School Years 8-11 (or equivalent if home-schooled) with little or no film making experience. The course will cover several aspects of filmmaking including shot lists and storyboarding, editing and using YouTube effectively to broadcast completed films.

An experienced tutor will harness the Digital Film Editor’s enthusiasm and guide you through the exciting experience of creating a short film. The tutor will also help students to acquire a working understanding of the importance of editing, as well as gaining knowledge of how to put together a professional-looking short film.

You will be working in our amazing studio spaces that have been home to our award-winning graduates, using tools and equipment that the creative industries rely on and become a part of our creative community.

Your creative journey with AUB doesn't have to stop at Saturday Art School either; we offer a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design as well as a range of creative degree courses - and you'll already know your way around campus.
