About this course

You will learn the step-by-step techniques that go from Raw Audio to a first Rough Mix, then using EQs and adding Compression . You will be arranging tracks in the Stereo Field, adding Re-verbs and Delays, and creating a final version of your Mix by writing Automation Data for each track in real-time
Once you have learned these techniques, they will be yours for the rest of your musical life
This is not a course like the others, where a teacher talks about how to do stuff, or demonstrates certain "expert tricks" ! In this course YOU have to WORK on a real PRODUCTION! We provide you with the raw, untreated audio tracks and YOU will make them into a professional sounding RECORD

Course programme

Let's get Started! 2 lectures 05:57 Introduction to Digital Music Production - Creating Tomorrow's Hit Songs In the Intro lecture, Erik explains how the course is going to work: the students will work on a real-world production, with audio tracks provided as a downloadable archive by the end of the lecture. This course is not about WATCHING music production techniques, but actually DOING them hands-on in real time with the course content. Getting Organized We import the downloaded audio files and save the new project. We create a consistent pattern for naming and saving the project. Lastly, we organize the Arrange and the Mixer pages with a color scheme to stay on top of things even when working on very large projects.
