Description
This is a one day beginners course to throwing on the potters wheel. You will learn about wedging clay and preparation, centring the clay on the wheel and throwing cylinders and basic forms. The cost of a one day course is £150. This is a one to one tutored day course to ensure you gain the most out of the day. Two people are able to attend but will need to share the wheel. This will also include the glazing and firing of one of your thrown vessels postage costs apply. Apron, tools and materials are provided for use on the day. Please bring a packed lunch. The course is run by Mathew Dimbleby who is a potter and also a trained teacher with a PGCE and a degree in Ceramics.
