Entry requirements: You should have four GCSEs at grade C or above or a relevant Level 2 qualification. You will be required to attend an interview and show a selection of your work.

What will I study on the course?
Fine Art and Photography Pathway
You will explore ideas and experiment with a variety of fine art mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and video. This course encourages personal development and expression.
Animation and Games Design Pathway
You will study areas such as animation, games design and design for the web ideal for a career working in creative digital media. The course will give you the design and practical skills to allow you to advance to further study and pursue a career in this exciting and expanding field.
Graphic Design and Visual Communication Pathway
You will study graphic design, illustration for books, print, magazines, screen based media, interactive web design, short film, design for advertising, promotion, identity, packaging design and much more.
Fashion and Textiles Pathway
You will develop your ideas and skills by studying subjects such as pattern cutting, garment manufacture, textile print and embellishment to prepare you for a career working in fashion or textile design.
You will have the opportunity to take part in a number of live projects during the course these are often industry specific and allow you to gain industrial knowledge of your subject area which will support a UCAS application as well as adding to your CV. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a number of national and regional competitions.
You will have a range of talks/workshops with industry professionals as well as visits to studios and workshops of practicing designers and artists. As well as this there are regular visits to exhibitions and events to help inform and inspire your work.
