What will I study?
This course is suitable if you are interested in acquiring
knowledge and developing skills within the broad context of the
business and finance sector. The course places equal emphasis on
business and finance skills and customer relationships. It offers
an exploration of the real-world of business organisations and you
will apply learning across work related tasks. The Diploma will
enable you to develop valuable transferable skills, as well as the
skills which can take you onto higher education.
There are three core themes: business, administration and
finance. Skills such as team-work, creative thinking, self
management, project management, business communications and
reflective learning all play a major part in the delivery and
assessment of the qualification. Learning is brought
to life through up-to-the-minute contexts and working in a
realistic working environment.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need a proven record of a high standard in English,
Maths and ICT, with an excellent record of attendance, punctuality
and commitment from your school. You will also need to successfully
complete an initial assessment and interview.

administration, management and finance roles.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
