Overview
On this introduction to the Creative Media industries our professional team will support you in learning about audience, representation, promotion, TV and film, advertising, photography and radio skills. By completing a range of units, you will gain the confidence to complete further study on higher level courses within the creative industries, which include media production, games design and graphic design. You will learn about all the stages required to get an idea onto screen including pre-production, production and post production techniques.
Entry Requirements
You must have 3 GCSEs at grades D and above including English and maths. You will also have an interview and assessment to confirm suitability for the course. You will be required to retake GCSE English and maths during the course if a grade D has been achieved previously, or complete Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy.
Course Duration
One year, full time.
Skills and Benefits
This course will give the skills to help you better understand a range of Media techniques. You may choose to study this course prior to completing a 90 Credit Diploma in TV/Film or Games Development. Alternatively, you may wish to seek employment.
