Diploma In Electrical Installations Level 1

Who is this course for?

This is a course designed for students who wish to enter the electrical installations industry. The course will enable you to either join the Electricians Course C&G 2365 at Level 2

What qualifications or experience do I need ?

You should have a minimum of two GCSEs grades A*-D.

What will I study ?

The work covered will include practical sessions where skills are developed. Numeracy and literacy will be taught as well as ICT skills. In addition, learners will take a course in Level 1 certificate in Engineering (C&G 2850), a Level 1 award in Sustainable Development, Functional Skills Maths Level 1 and Functional Skills Level 1.

How will I be assessed ?

This is a portfolio-based course which means that your work will be assessed on a continual assessment basis. There will be a series of assessments during the year. These assessments will cover both academic and practical work. During your period of study you will build a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed by an external assessor.
