Course overview Do you have a passion for creating your own music? Ever wanted to create your own music video? Have you dreamt of a career in the music industry? From recording and production to live sound and multimedia to work backstage, music technology covers a range of exciting areas and our extended diploma will introduce you to this dynamic industry. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest studio, live and computer-based technologies, and develop the skills you need to progress to higher education or a job in the industry. You will have the chance to produce your own music, make a music video, produce radio shows and even develop the technical and saftey skills required to work backstage. Entry requirements You will need five GCSE grades A-C in academic subjects, including a minimum grade C in English and maths. You do not need to have any prior music qualifications but you will have to pass an audition, written test and interview to demonstrate your competency for the course and your knowledge of your own instrument or singing style.
