Course programme

What will I study on the course?

You will study maintaining animal health and welfare, undertaking practical animal feeding, maintaining animal accommodation, undertaking work related experience in the land based sector, understanding the basic principles of animal biology, introduction to the principles and practices of animal behaviour and handling and contributing to the nursing of animals.

The course runs for three days per week over one year.
