Our Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair offers you the opportunity to take your technical knowledge to an advanced level. You will be introduced to new technologies and learn how to diagnose and fix complex system faults. You will learn through a combination of class-based theoretical learning and hands-on practice in the workshop. You will study advanced engine, chassis, transmission, electrical and electronic technology. By the end of the course, you will be able to inspect different vehicles, rectify their faults and assemble new vehicle parts. You will also gain a broad knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace, and other skills associated with working in a garage, including improving your functional skills. Entry requirements You will have a Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Light Vehicle) Level 2 or prior experience of the automotive industry.
