The Diploma of Higher Education in Audio Engineering offers a broader base and more practical experience for a career in the creative industries as an audio engineer, as well as providing a recognized pathway to the BA/BSc (Hons) Audio Production.

The course is designed for the growing music producer or more committed enthusiast who wishes to enhance their knowledge and production skills and to gain a better understanding of industry requirements, while perhaps not yet ready to pursue the full degree programme.

The course is identical in content to the first four modules of the Audio Production degree, and provides more extended practical experience and theoretical foundations to start developing advanced and professional audio production work.

Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Higher Education, you may be eligible to continue your studies for a further 8 months and study towards the full BA/BSc (Hons) degree in Audio Production.
