You should have a relevant Level 2 Qualification. You will also be required to take an initial assessment and attend an interview with the Course Team Leader prior to the course starting.

Course programme

What will I study on the course?

You will study how to erect and dismantle access and working platforms, the application of paint by brush and roller, applying papers to walls and ceilings, specialist decorative finishes, specialist architectural feature work, how to apply water-borne paint systems using air-less and HVLP equipment and surfaces preparation. Ideal if you wish to develop higher level skills in the trade

Additional information

You will attend college for three days per week for one year. The main enrolment period for this course is in September but there will also be the opportunity to start the course at other times if places are available.
