Recent graduates or qualified accountants who are seeking specialist knowledge in the areas of computer auditing and systems accounting. Those wishing to pursue further research for a PhD in the areas of Information Systems Auditing and Control.

About this course

The minimum entry requirement of our Postgraduate course is an Honours Degree equivalent to that of UK University in computing or business related subjects. The basis of offers made to applicants will be reviewed regularly in relation to the demand for places. English proficiency is essential.

Course Structure

Total Credits: 120 Credits.

The course has a flexible modular structure and consists of eight core subjects and a Project. A particular emphasis is given in achieving an optimal balance of theory and practice; students will be given exposure to leading-edge software and assurance practices.

  • Module MSIRM113 - Information System Management
  • Module MSIRM114 - Infrastructure and Operations of IS
  • Module MSIRM115 - Security of IS Infrastructure
  • Module MSIRM110 - Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
  • Module MSIRM116 - Software Engineering and Security Architecture
  • Module MSIRM101 - Information Risk Management
  • Module MSIRM118 - Scientific Writing & Research Methodology

Candidates on successful completion of core modules will be eligible to do M Sc CSM dissertation at the specific UK University to obtain full M Sc degree Module MSIRM117 - M Sc Dissertation.

  • M Sc: 6 months for Dissertation

Additional information

Payment options: Course Fee: £4000 for PgD for overseas students. Course Fee: £3000 for PgD for local students. The college has the right to revise and amend the fees schedule without any prior notice. Students are to pay requisite tuition fees upon admission either in full or in instalments as agreed with the admissions department of the college. However, any student paying full tuition fees at a time will receive a 10% discount depending on duration and programme. Fees can be paid by bank draft, cheque, bank transfer, credit card or cash.
