Diploma in Plastering Level 2

If you want to learn or improve plastering techniques, this course is for you.

The structure of the course combines practical workshops and valuable theory which provides the underpinning knowledge required to increase your quality of work and performance.

You will learn plastering techniques, skills and technology including:

• safe working practices,
• sand and cement screeding,
• preparing background surfaces,
• applying plaster to external surfaces,
• dry lining methods,
• sand and cement screeding,
• cast running reverse mould for cornice,
• casting cornice mould,
• position and fix cornice.

Entry Requirements

• A level 1 qualification, and
• English at level 1 and maths at entry level 3, or
• an initial assessment indicating that you are working at level 1 and you can achieve level 2 English and level 1 maths within one year.
