About this course

You should have a relevant Level 2 Qualification. If you hold no formal Qualifications but have experience in the plastering industry, then evidence will be required and a short practical test will be set off the tutor.

City and Guilds Diploma in Plastering Level 3. You will also gain Functional Skills in maths and \English at the relevant level to what you have studied during the year.

Course programme

What will I study on the course?

You will study how to fix plasterboard products to interiors, produce plaster components, position and secure fibrous plaster components, apply plaster materials to produce complex internal surfaces and to prepare and run in-situ moulds. You will also do complex external surfaces. Ideal if you would like to further develop both the skills and knowledge to become a plasterer.

Additional information

You will attend college two days per week over a year. The main enrolment period for this course is in September but there will also be the opportunity to start the course at other times if places are available.
