You will complete one online exam and a range of written assignments, presentations and practical activities. Your attendance will be split over four days and you will be expected to carry out private study at home or in our study centre. Course overview This intermediate course is a great first step into the world of travel and tourism. It mixes classroom-based learning with some great hands-on experience. Our course begins with an overview of the travel and tourism industry and you will learn about the different job roles available to you in this sector. You will also explore local visitor attractions and key destinations across the UK and Europe. Our supportive, knowledgeable team have extensive industry experience extending over Travel Retail, Overseas Resort Operation, Cabin Crew, Cruising, Conference and Event Organisation, Tourist Information Centre, Adventure Tourism and Hospitality roles. Entry requirements You will need at least two GCSE grades A-c in academic subjects including a minimum grade D in English language. You will also need to be passionate about travel and tourism, and eager to learn new skills! We will ask you to complete a piece of work and bring it along to discuss at your interview.
