What will I study on the course?

You will study exciting and developmental units including

This qualification demonstrates the specialist knowledge and skills you have developed, or will develop such as:

- animal handling and care in a veterinary environment

- assisting with care in a veterinary environment

- Administrative duties in a veterinary environment.

You will learn on the job in the work environment, as well as during your college attendance of 2 days per week. You need to complete a minimum of 600 hours in a veterinary environment.

You will learn, develop and practise the skills and knowledge required for employment and/or career progression in the Veterinary Nursing sector.

The course runs over 1 Year.Consisting of 2 days per week in college and practical education in a Veterinary Practice for 3 days per week
