The skilled operative, upon successful completion, will be able to carry out disinfection and legionella risk assessments to enable full compliance under Health and Safety Executive legislation. Suitable for: Individuals who wish to physically disinfect hot and cold water systems, managers who are responsible for the management and maintenance of water systems in residential accommodation (e.g. managers of nursing homes and housing associations). This includes plumbing operatives as well as maintenance engineers employed by local authorities and councils.

This course is designed to cover the requirements to enable compliance for insurance purposes, public buildings, newly built property and any domestic property that is not deemed to be a single family dwelling (this includes nursing homes, probation units, hotels and bed and breakfast accommodation etc.).
