What I would highlight:
I am not going to mislead anybody, the Access to HE (Allied Health Professions) Diploma is diligent work; it includes modules in scholastic aptitudes and brain research and the normal science. What I would highlight:

What I would highlight:
I started the DLC access to Health Professions course when I felt ready to pursue my dream to become a speech therapist. I had worked since I left school and I didn't want to give up my job until I started University, as I wanted to still earn money to save before I got there, so this course was ideal for my situation. My tutors have been a great help all along, it was hard work but well worth it.
I have achieved excellent grades with the help of my tutors and I am very proud of what I have achieved with DLC. I have my place at University and I start there in September, I can't wait.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone that is wanting to further their education! Thank you.

What I would highlight:
For some time I had been looking for a way to pursue my dream career of being a midwife. When the opportunity arose for me to take redundancy from my long term career in financial services I decided to take the risk.
The DLC gave me the opportunity to study alongside my work and raise a family. I must admit it was tough at times and I found motivation and personal drive that I never knew I possessed, but it was totally worth it.
Now, when I am made redundant in a few weeks time, I can leave in the knowledge that I am prepared and ready to apply to study at university in 2015. My tutors have been so supportive and were on hand if I needed them and provided valuable feedback throughout. Thanks for the opportunity and experience I have learned so much about myself!

What I would highlight:
Since leaving school I have never really thought of myself as a very academic person, since I have been studying with the DLC it has really given me an insight into what studying will be like at University. The course is very challenging as it requires you to do a lot of self-study and teaching using the materials provided. The tutors are very helpful if you have any problems and are also very quick to respond. I would recommend the DLC to anyone wanting to complete an Access course who have full time jobs or family's and other commitment's but you must be prepared to put in the effort and time as you can get distracted easily and out of sync, but the feeling of accomplishment is great when you finish. I have now secured a place at University Northampton on a BSc in Adult Nursing starting in September which I am really looking forward to.
