The diver is the skilled worker who performs underwater works covered with a suitable waterproof casing, the diving suit, and using special equipment. The diver is secured by means of a line, called sling, to the guide boat, which assists him in his work and on which, as a rule, the air pump is also placed. The diver receives the air sustenance from the surface through a rubber tube connected to an air pump. The tube is coaxial to a rope which is used to lower or hoist the diver on board as well as to communicate with the surface through conventional tugs, unless it is in communication with a telephone cable. The first projects of a diving equipment date back to Leonardo da Vinci, who however did not disclose his studies. Afterwards, in the first half of the nineteenth century and more precisely in 1829, Charles and John Deane of Whitstable, in English Kent, designed the first diving helmet. In 1837, based on the studies of Leonardo da Vinci and Halley, Augustus Siebe built a standard diving suit, a sort of first diving suit for diving. In 1849 the diving school was established in Genoa. The evolution of modern underwater activities linked to the professional world especially for high and very high depth diving has led to the return of the so-called diver system so that the underwater worker for work in platforms and interventions linked with pipes that carry air or gaseous mixtures,
