Dog Grooming

The 20 day course is for people wishing to become a professional. The course will provide the knowledge needed and will give the student plenty of practical experience with a large variety of breeds.

The course will cover:

* The correct handling of dogs
* Recognition of health problems and basic first aid
* Brushing, de-matting and bathing
* In-depth clipping, scissoring and hand stripping
* Ear cleaning, nail clipping, expressing anal glands and teeth cleaning
* Cleaning and maintaining equipment
* Health and safety in the salon
* Customer relations

All students on this course will receive the personal equipment pack which a large selection of grooming equipment.

Students will receive notes as well as before and after pictures of all the dogs they have groomed.
