Outline Content
- To enable practitioners to work in partnership with families to undertake activities to help explore children’s experience of the abuse, to help children to voice their worries and to address behavioural difficulties that are a result of the abuse.
- Identify different ways in which children are affected by domestic abuse in the family;
- What children have said about how they felt about the
domestic abuse they experienced; - Initiatives being used to help children recover from the affects of the abuse;
- Resources available to work with children and to try some these activities out in a safe environment;
- Explore issues of safety and consent when working with children on issues of domestic abuse.
