Drafting Statements of Case Overview

Drafting statements of case for litigation is a refined skill that can only be learnt through practice. In very practical courses we start with the elements of the skill and go through to the creation of complex legal documents. All the learning is in the context of case studies, which can be selected according to level of difficulty and complexity:

Induction - trainees and 0-1 years PQE
Intermediate - 1-5 years PQE
Advanced - 5 years + PQE (these case studies are demanding even at partnership level)

The most effective training involves actual drafting practice, and the more time allowed for this, the better. The longer the course, the greater number of different types of draft can be covered. We can devise courses to run 6 - 20 hours.
