This programme has a number of optional modules to choose from in the Centre for Applied Linguistics to allow you to achieve the required credits to successfully complete the award. Teaching:

The course is delivered through a range of teaching and learning methods: lectures, seminars, practical workshops which involve group work and self-study. Core modules develop and extend your understanding of key approaches to Second Language Acquisition (SLA) and English Language Learning (ELT), and provide a solid grounding in drama techniques and approaches. You’ll also complete a dissertation based on an individual research project, with support from a member of academic staff.

Assessment:

Programmes within the Centre for Education Studies and Centre for Applied Linguistics are assessed through a variety of methods depending on the module choices each student makes.
