About this course

Lectures are delivered by experienced multi-disciplinary researchers from King’s and the biopharmaceutical sector.
Advanced study course with a five to six- month industry-based research project.

Our graduates mainly gain employment in the pharmaceutical industry, or choose to study for a PhD.

2:1 undergraduate degree in biomedical/life sciences with evidence of a significant interest in pharmacology.

In order to meet the academic entry requirements for this programme you should have a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree with a final mark of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme. If you are still studying you should be achieving an average of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme.

Course programme

Structure

Courses are divided into modules. You will normally take modules totalling 180 credits.Required Modules

You are required to take:

  • Core Skills in Drug Discovery (45 credits)
  • Case History of Drug Discovery (30 credits)
  • Seminars in Drug Discovery (30 credits)
  • Research Project in Drug Discovery (75 credits)
