Course programme

Course Overview
The emphasis of this course is designed to introduce you to the Dry Suit and develop your skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for dry suit diving. Issues such as Operation Principles, Care and Maintenance and Diving techniques are addressed. You will also cover problem and hazard solving, and proper Buoyancy control with ascent and descent sessions. Finally we look at preventative maintenance and performance checks.

What does it involve
One session in the pool going over dry suit diving safety scenarios followed by two dives in the Sea or our Fresh water Quarry.

What will I do
If you want to see the spectacular and prolific aquatic life often found in colder water climates you'll need to stay warm and that means a dry suit. But, you want to be trained in proper techniques and this is where PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course comes in.

Course prerequisites
To complete Dry Suit Training, divers must have successfully passed Open Water Diver and should have completed a number of Open Water Dives.
