Two day workshop

This course explores the close relationship between the lumbar spine and sacro-iliac joint and reviews the ability and validity of differentiating between the two. A comprehensive workbook with references is included.

Aims:

1. Improve your knowledge of anatomy and biornechanics related to pathology and dysfunction of the lumbar spine and pelvis
2. Improve your ability to examine the lumbar spine and the sacroiliac joints, the soft tissues and nerves of the pelvic region
3. Facilitate clinical reasoning in the assessment and management of lumbar and pelvic dysfunction
4. Evaluate differentiation of the lumbar spine and sacroiliac joint and review validity of clinical tests commonly used
5. Improve your ability to identify instability of the lumbar spine and pelvis and implement an appropriate treatment programme
