The course consists of three main elements which are the EAL Level 2 NCQ in Performing Engineering Operations. Here you will develop practical skills in mechanical, electrical and welding/ fabrication engineering. This will include the use of practical hand skills, using machine tools to produce mechanical items, welding and fabricating metal components and installing electrical systems. The second element is the EAL Level 2 Diploma in Engineering where you will develop your knowledge about engineering techniques and principles for mechanical, electrical and welding/ fabrication engineering and continue to practice applying your practical skills. The third element is to develop your maths, English and IT skills to support your learning and prepare you for employment.
