The Master of Early Childhood Education program at Georgia College will prepare you in the knowledge, capabilities and dispositions required for effective, exemplary teachers of young children.
The program is recognized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is designed to support in-service teachers during their years of induction and to assist them in increasing their level of certification from a T-4 to T-5 while obtaining one of the optional credentials to move from the professional level certificate to the advanced professional. Courses are offered in a partially online format with classes meeting in Macon (at Central Georgia Technical College's Macon Campus Building I). The cohort begins each May and provides the best of both worlds: the flexibility of online learning combined with in-person class meetings that allow for collaborative learning and networking opportunities with colleagues across the state.
