This programme provides a route into a number of BSc (Hons) degrees in Earth or Ocean Sciences; it is especially suitable for students without a strong background in science. You will follow a Foundation Year at Carmel College (St Helens, nine miles from the University of Liverpool), where the class sizes are small and the standards of academic achievement high. You will then follow one from: Geology (F600) Geology and Physical Geography (F6F8) Geophysics (Geology) (F640) Geophysics (Physics) (F656) Ocean Sciences (F700) Geography and Oceanography (FF78) Mathematics with Ocean and Climate Sciences (G1F7) Marine Biology with Oceanography (C1F7) Based at Carmel College, St Helens, about nine miles from the main University precinct.
