Course Details Module 1: Basic concepts of IT To understand the basic components of the computer and concepts of IT:

Module 2: Using the computer and managing files Demonstrate knowledge and competence in using the basic functions of a PC and its operating system:

Manage and organise files, directories and folders

Copy, move and delete files and folders

Use search features, editing tools and print management facilities within the operating system
Module 7: Information and Communication (E-mail) The module is divided into two sections:

Section 1 Information: Accomplish basic web search tasks using a web browser and search engines,bookmark results and print web pages and search reports.

Section 2 Communication:Use electronic mail software to send and receive messages, attach documents or files to a message, organise and manage folders or directories within electronic mail software
