EDEXCEL Level 3 Close protection operative: This course comprises the knowledge, understanding and skills required to become a licensed close protection operative. It will be assessed partly by a written test and partly by practical assessment. The unit presents the legislative framework within which the close protection industry operates. It then covers the basic requirements of close protection, such as team roles, personal security, and the attributes required, including the importance of team working and interpersonal skills. 2. EDEXCEL First person on the scene: This course is designed for those involved in providing initial emergency care, such as Community Responders, Fire and Police Officers and close protection operatives we deliver the FPOS qualification: • Basic level These qualifications are designed to provide learners with simple but effective skills and knowledge to enable them to provide immediate care in the first few minutes of an emergency. This course is designed to advance the First Aider towards achieving the First Person on the Scene course. Throughout the training individuals will be taught the skills associated with rapid assessment, stabilisation and transfer of both the trauma victim and those suffering a medical emergency. This course will develop individuals to gain a foundation knowledge enabling them to work individually or as part of a team in a variety of situations and locations throughout the world. Our Instructors host a variety of experience with backgrounds including; military medics, civilian paramedics, CP Operators; with recent operational experience. 3. HABC First Aid at work: This includes all the features of EFAW and also equips learners with the first aid knowledge and skills to tend a range of specific injuries and illnesses. This particular award is most suited to working environments that have a high hazard count and/or high numbers of employees. Upon successful completion of this course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practise for three years after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. It is strongly recommended that you update your skills by taking an annual refresher. 4. HABC Level 2 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation training course: This qualification provides learners with skills to further their First Aid training. It is recommended as training for first aiders in the workplace environment who have access to a defibrillator. Learners gaining this qualification will know that Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation form an essential part of the chain of survival.
This qualification offers the trained provider the opportunity to provide effective emergency lifesaving first aid care using an AED. This is achieved through the understanding of the BLS/AED algorithm and the responsibilities and treatment principles of AED use. This practical course will enable learners to use the AED competently and with confidence. Not only does it deal with the use of an AED but it also includes vital training in resuscitation and choking procedures 5. Hostile environment & Fire Arms training This course has been designed by AMBA Training and forms the core competencies for working within Hostile Environments on PSD and Close Protection tasks. Many operatives working within hostile environments or new operatives that want to move into this environment now need to have not only a greater understanding of physical security and specific hostile environment operational procedures but in some cases the SIA license. Our HECPO course has been designed to teach a student the drills, procedures and specific techniques that are required when operating in a close protection role within a hostile environment. The HECPO (Czech Republic) course comprises of 20 days in the UK with 5 days live fire weapons and simulation based in the Czech Republic. All our trainers have delivered the above training for her majesty’s services around the UK and Internationally, from the time you sign up on the courses you will be immersed within an professional learning environment which provides advanced teachings to enable you the underpinning knowledge to work within hostile protective security environments. Course cost is £4000 in advance and £4500 on the day
