What you need to know
How will I study?

First year - The Hospitality Industry, Principles and Providing Customer Service, Business Enterprise, Financial Control, Personal Selling and Promotional Skills, Planning and Managing an Event and Front Office Operations. If you are aged 16-18 you will follow a study programme consisting of your main qualification, English and Maths. This is a great introduction into the Hospitality industry and can lead to some fantastic opportunities in both the UK and abroad.
How will I be taught?

Students will be taught within the production environment, demonstrating skills within the kitchen and restaurant working alongside our team and delivering products and service to customers. Each unit is divided into various assignments which students have to complete. Theory lessons are diverse and include Written Reports as well as Presentations, Films and Group Work.
How will I be assessed?

All units are assessed through a programme of planned assignments, reports, case studies and practical demonstrations. Students can receive Pass, Merit or Distinction grades which equate to UCAS points for those students looking to study at University.
