Advantages of studying here
Education for Health is approved by The Open University as an appropriate organisation to offer higher education programmes leading to Open University validated awards.
Our flexible programmes could give you the opportunity to "top up" your DipHE in Nursing (or equivalent) to obtain a degree that is both relevant and clinically focused and will enable you to progress up the career ladder.
Our innovative education and training is based on two principal features: high quality learning materials and effective academic and clinical teaching and learning provided by locally based Trainers suitable for staff working in bands 1-7. Our network of 80 trainers are practicing clinicians; their local experience means they understand the needs of service and population demands of patients and students alike which therefore makes study relevant to everyday practice and illustrates challenging concepts with real life patient stories.
As an organisation we are convinced that good quality education is the key to improving patients' health outcomes and quality of life. Everything we do is designed to impact positively on patients' lives through better diagnosis, treatment and management. However, treatments and management strategies will be ineffective if professional and patients don't understand or use them properly. We offer a wide range of one day skills workshops and flexible Diploma and Degree modules.
Areas of specialisation
