Course programme

Course structure This 5 Day course is taught via a blend of presentations and group-based exercises delivered and run by Cranfield University academic staff and visiting speakers from the MoD and industry. Delegates will utilize illustrative modelling and simulation packages. All delegates receive a folder containing course materials.
What you will learn

On completion you will be able to:

  • Identify the general determinants of efficient and effective through life support to major assets and analyse their applicability to specific systems and usage scenarios
  • Recognize which of the determinants of operational availability and the drivers of support costs offer the greatest leverage for achieving desired levels of efficiency and effectiveness in a given system support solution
  • Make better informed through life support management decisions, in a given usage scenario and utilizing appropriate decision support tools.
