Who should attend:
Care workers personal assistants who have attended moving and handling training within the last 12-15 months. Those returning to work after musculoskeletal disorder.

Course outline
Participants will:

• Review understanding and practice moving and handling skills
• Gain an understanding of the prevalence of back pain, and musculo skeletal disorders (MSDs)
• Gain information in changes to legal requirements for moving and handling
• Have the opportunity for practical problem solving, and use of handling equipment
• Provide information on the need for risk assessment
