Course programme
The programme combines three taught modules with a 20,000-word supervised research thesis on a topic of your choice.
We recommend that you discuss your proposed research project with a potential supervisor before making your application.
All three of your taught modules are optional, and should be chosen to complement your research topic. You will choose three taught modules from a range which typically includes:
- Ancient Egyptian Religion
- Egyptian Culture in Context
- Egyptian Language
- Research and Scholarship in Classics and Ancient History
